What is anxiety and what causes it?

Anxiety is excessive fear or worry that leads to physical distress and behavioral avoidance. Having anxiety can lead to a person having impairment in social, occupational, and daily functioning.

What do can I do to help my anxiety?

REBT will help change your irrational and unhealthy beliefs by following the ABC’S of REBT.

A. Describe the situation that is upsetting you.

B. Describe your opinion/ interpretation/ what you are thinking when you’re upset

C. Pinpoint feelings and explore them to increase your self-awareness

D. Dispute your thoughts and develope them into positive thoughts.

E. Set a goal and take action.
